Jobs with Justice supports numerous campaigns across Massachusetts that affect workers locally, nationally, and globally.

Here are just a few of the campaigns we are currently working on:

Raise Up Massachusetts

Massachusetts Jobs with Justice sits on the steering committee of Raise Up MA, a broad-based coalition of grassroots organizations coming together to advance policies that raise the floor for all working people in Massachusetts. So far, we have raised the minimum wage in Massachusetts and passed legislation that guarantees paid sick time for all workers in the Commonwealth!

Safe Communities Campaign

The Safe Communities Campaign is a group of immigrant rights organizations working to oppose anti-immigrant policies in Massachusetts. We advocate for state-level legislation that would safe-guard immigrant communities and stop deportations.

Allianza Por Puerto Rico

The Puerto Rican debt crisis was orchestrated by Big Banks and Wall Street investors, but the people on the island are the ones paying the price for corporate greed with sweeping austerity measures that threaten access to education and clean drinking water. We support local Puerto Rican activists in calling attention to the crisis and holding accountable the institutions and individuals who created it. Join the Facebook group to get involved.

One Fair Wage

The One Fair Wage Campaign, led by the Restaurant Opportunities Center, seeks to eliminate the sub-minimum wage for tipped workers and ensure that they are able to receive the compensation they deserve. We mobilize and advocate for legislation that would level the playing field for tipped workers and establish one livable minimum wage for all.

Campaign for Single-Payer Healthcare

The Campaign for Single-Payer Healthcare in Massachusetts is an ongoing effort to create an improved Medicare-for-All health care system that would provide quality care to every resident of the Commonwealth, regardless of income or immigration status. We work with MassCare, as well as other labor and community organizations to advance legislation that will bring us closer to achieving that goal.
