Stop & Shop Update !  On March 3, the five local unions of United Food & Commercial Workers gave Stop & Shop a deadline and a comprehensive contract proposal that covers every aspect of their five agreements. All five locals have secured hotels for meetings with the membership next Sunday, March 11. They told the company that they expect it to respond with something serious and decent for union members to vote on next Sunday. Otherwise, there will be a strike.  The company has said that it will go through the union proposal very carefully and get back to them on Thursday March 8.   Click here to take action!
