Massachusetts Healthcare Advocacy Day 2008.  Noon – at the Grand Staircase at the State House, Boston MA.   Our Prescription for Power.  Every day, decisions are made at the State House that affect our jobs, our families, and those we care for. As healthcare and home care workers, we are the best advocates for making improvements in our field and for protecting quality care for our patients, residents and consumers. On Tuesday, April 1, we are speaking out for them, for ourselves and for our families. We are speaking out for good wages, good benefits, more training options, and to protect funding for our programs and worksites.  Free lunch and t-shirts provided.
