Health Care Committee

The Health Care Committee works in partnership with MassCare, a local health care advocacy group. We are committed to our long term goal of achieving single payer health care in the state of Massachusetts. Our short term goal is to make sure that we have accessible and affordable healthcare, especially for the state's most vulnerable populations, such as low-wage workers, the immigrant community, the elderly, and students.

Co-insurance is No Insurance

The Health Care Committee is working with local student groups to get co-insurance banned from all Massachusetts campuses. They are educating students and the public about this issue, and drawing attention to its devastating effects through direct action, targeting both the insurance companies and the university administration.
