The Truth About "Stand for Children"

Currently, an organization called Stand for Children is attempting to push forward an anti-teacher, anti-student ballot initiative. Stand for Children claims to be advocating for education reform, but in reality this bill would diminish the rights of our hard-working teachers. To make matters worse, this organization is backed by greedy corporations like Walmart and Bain Capital, and we know these 1%ers don't have the best interest of our communities in mind. 

That is why Massachusetts Jobs with Justice is teaming up with the AFT and MTA to let our legislators know that Stand for Children is a bad idea. See the attached letter to our legislators to read more.

We know that if we want to improve our public education, we need to work together as a community-- parents, teachers, and students united.
